I normally hate Microsloth products, and it is a little too early to say for sure if I hate Live Writer or not, but so far so good.
What I like about it so far is that you can drag and drop images (like the one here) into the editor and have it position in a logical way. Another thing is that links are easy and logical; in almost all other Microsloth products, pressing CTRL+K will turn highlighted text into a link–same here. In fact most other CTRL hotkeys give logical results. CTRL+I = italics, CTRL+B = bold, etc.
I am sure I will find flaws, but it is still in beta and they are to be expected. I only wish that all Microsloth products were this good out of the gate.
